About Sudman's racing

I've enjoyed racing bikes since the age of 16.
I've always enjoyed racing and meeting people who have the same passion for drag racing motorcycles.
Over 30 years of drag racing motorcycles:

Winner Circle:

In 1983: I won my first track championship.

In 1985: I won another track championship at Muncie Indiana.

In 1986: I won my first national meet at North Carolina in the IDBA organization.

In 1988: I had the best year of my career. I won national No. 1 in IDBA in Pro Gas, I won the track championship at Muncie Indiana, and received the heads-up rider of the year in IDBA. I beat out the late John Meyers and Ron Ayers for that award.

In 1991, 1993, and 1996: I was track champion again at Muncie.

Placed:

1986: 6th on national standings running Pro Gas.

1987: I finished 4th in national standings.

1989 and 1990: I finished 6th in national standings.

national meets:

I stopped running national meets and just raced locally, till 1997,when my wife Shirley encouraged me to go back to the National level. We went to 5 national meets in IDBA and made it to the finals 3 times and ended up No.3 in national points in Super Gas. In 1998 I finished 3rd again. In 1999 I ended up 5th in national points even though I won a national meet at St. Louis in IDBA and won a national meet at Indy in the Prostar organization.
